Assistant Professor Aleksandar Gluhović is a specialist in general and emergency surgery, experienced in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, colorectal, gastric, abdominal wall hernias and laparoscopic surgery, with more than 400 operations per year, employed on Clinic for Abdominal, Endocrine and Transplantation Surgery, Clinical Center of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, and on Medical Faculty in Novi Sad. He completed training for liver transplantation at University of Pisa in Italy and for several years he is coordinator at chair named "Transplantation of tissue and organs". From 2010. till 2016. he was head of Emergency Surgery Division in Emergency Center Novi Sad. One of main interest he found in education of surgeons and residents in field of laparoscopic surgery of colon and rectum, also in surgery of abdominal wall hernias. Dr Gluhović is consultant surgeon in Republic of Srpska, and member of presidential board of Society of Endoscopic Surgeons of Serbia (UEHS).
